10 Tools Every Refinery Ironworker Should Carry.

This one will focus specifically on ironworkers handling structural steel, pipe racks, platforms, stairs, handrails, equipment supports, structural modifications and heavy steel erection inside refineries and petrochemical plants.

The 10-tool lineup will include spud wrench, bull pin, sleever bar, connecting bar, 4-lb beater, tape measure, torpedo level, combination square, adjustable wrench, and soapstone/paint marker.

The refinery-specific sections will go deeper into connecting steel, aligning bolt holes, temporary connections, bolt-up, structural drawings, elevation and orientation, crane communication, working at height, dropped-object prevention, pinch points, line-of-fire hazards, pipe-rack modifications, working around operating process equipment, and why you never put your fingers where a bull pin belongs.
